She always believed the universe needed him more than she did.
Why shouldn't the universe be blessed with his presence? Who was she to try to refrain the world from having him? Nothing but child's play, she thought. Nothing but inevitable collateral damage. She didn't worry too much though. She didn't mean to dive deep behind her own instincts. She looked up to him in many ways. His aura and his presence made anyone and everyone comfortable. The universe naturally gravitated towards him, all the good and all the bad. The universe knew he could handle it and so did he. He gracefully took on anything that was thrown at his plate and he did it in a way that influenced the people who surrounded him. He influenced her. He influenced her drive, her mindset, her being. He did as much as he could to protect her and she knew it. She also knew she could never be the one to be selfish about him. She was never able to be selfish about him then and she never will now. She grew to be okay with that. He'll soon enter a better place, a more appropriate and sensible place. Caring for him from afar put her mind at ease.
He deserved the world and more but she was afraid the world didn't deserve him.
